Attendees will learn how these two burlesque comedians came to dominate every medium they appeared in, overcame great personal tragedies, gave away large parts of their earnings and made America laugh when the country needed it most. We certainly could use comedians and human beings like them today! From their beginnings in burlesque to their success in film and television, you will feel as if you knew these men by the end of the presentation. For this lecture, attendees will view some of their rare live television appearances on the Colgate Comedy Hour that you may never have experienced after the Power Point presentation! And you’ll laugh until your sides hurt! A large memorabilia collection (including actual World War 2 newspaper ads and magazine articles), autographs and book display will be included with this presentation. As a bonus, you will be given free leads on how to follow Bud and Lou today as their families keep their legends alive. This is one of my most popular lectures and never fails to attract large audiences. This lecture will cover the two morning time slots.
