The comedian’s comedian and star of Vaudeville, film, Radio and Television, Jack Benny was loved by millions. Jack could get more laughs with silence than most comedians get with a rapid fire joke. You’ll see why with some classic Jack Benny comedic moments in this original lecture. You will see him rise from his humble Orthodox beginnings to reach the height of television popularity. Was he really cheap? Was he really vain? Was he really self-centered? Was he a lousy violinist? Of course not, but he played them all so well that people thought all those personality traits were true! And that is why he was so well loved. He made fun of himself and made you laugh while he did it. An autograph, memorabilia (including rare World War 2 magazine articles) and book display is included.
