She eventually succeeded on Broadway and in television specials before breaking television barriers by hosting a comedy / variety show for eleven years on prime time network television - a feat that no female has accomplished before or since. Working with an unbeatable supporting cast, she has become a television and comedy legend. With this presentation, you will learn about her start in television, Broadway successes, her loss of a child and her film career in this comprehensive telling of her life.
