Attendees will see the first Long Island presentation to cover the life and career of this New York City superstar! See how this poor Irish kid from New York’s lower East Side became a hoofer (dancer), one of the screen’s toughest gangsters and then one of Hollywood’s best loved stars. This presentation covers Jimmy’s life beginning from his humble start and details his amazing career. It will include film highlights from his first starring role in “Public Enemy” where he portrays his toughest and arguably meanest film role and the one that made him a star. Singing, dancing, drama or comedy - nothing was beyond his scope. Respected, loved and admired by all, except Studio Head Jack Warner, there was no one like this “Professional Againster”! An autograph, book and memorabilia display is included.
